Our March walk was in Wickham Bishops and led by Jane David
We met at St Bartholemew’s Church and set off on a clear sunny day.
Walking through Church Green we passed the smallholdings with some very cute piglets an extremley muddy cattle. Entering Grange Road we took the bridleway along muddy field edges and onto Langford Road.
At this point we joined the Blackwater Rail Trail where a good firm path led us past the disused St Peter’s Church and back across Langford Road.
A short distance past pretty woodland we entered a well marked path through Fontenay’s Orchards.
On our return to the church we drove the short distance to Olivers Nurseries for a well earned lunch.
