16 hardy walkers met in slightly damp conditions at Wickham Bishops Village Hall for a three mile circular walk.
We took a variety of fairly muddy paths to pass by the Green Man at Braxted and The Bull at Great Totham ( it wasn't a pub crawl – honest!), the rain stopped and by the end of the walk the sun was out. Along the way we saw many snowdrops, crocus and even some early daffodils so we felt that Spring was trying to break through. We also admired the skills of a Red Kite circling the skies of Gt Totham.
The route back from Gt Totham was mainly on pavements which helped our muddy boots to dry off before we drove to Claire's Kitchen at Tom's Farm Shop in Tiptree for a well deserved lunch.
