The art Appreciation Group visited Gainsborough's House in Sudbury on 17th January,. This is a lovely gallery to be able to visit only 40 minutes away by train.
We saw three exhibitions as well as the permanent exhibition in the old house.
They were -
- John Macfarlane - the Art of Theatrical design
- Picture Perfect: A Century of Fashion Photography from the National Portrait Gallery
- The Image of the Artist Portraits from the Royal Academy.
It was good value too at £5 entry, as most members belong to the National Art Fund.
