Our October walk was in the village of Tollesbury.
We met on a very drab morning and set off along the sea wall and on past the well known Sail Lofts. Clouds were building and rain quickly set in, but undaunted we carried on towards the Saltmarsh and Tollesbury Marina. The rain continued more heavily as we walked!
After a vote it was decided to abandon the walk and head to our lunch venue at the Chequers Goldhanger.
We were made very welcome and after coffee and a warm up, lunch was brought forward.
We look forward to doing the walk again in kinder weather. Our thanks go to Philippa and Tracy for their efforts
