We had a good meeting in November when we discussed a diverse range of topics including:
Should Police and Crime Commissioners be scrapped; should Swiss yodelling be included in the UN's list of cultural heritage? Other issues raised included the grooming gangs enquiry (will it ever get off the ground); unusual names (do they provide an advantage in later life) and active learning. This is not an exhaustive list!
You don't need to have in depth knowledge of anything - the group members bring along items that have piqued their interest. These items could come from national or local press, magazine/journal topics or social media sites.
