On June 8th we visited Bradwell on Sea. First, St Thomas’s the parish church where we had coffee and cake with a group from Rayleigh u3a. We then walked the last piece of the pilgrims way to St Peter’s on the wall, always a magical place, built on the remains of Roman Othona in 660.
