Our August walk was in and around Messing.
We met in the village and set off on a circular walk a little longer than our usual jaunt.
The walk took us along farmland tracks, through three woods and a little road walking.
The group successfully traversed along the plank bridge and over three stiles with a little help from each other.
It was quite an autumnal walk, the ground was dry and there
were a few brambles to negotiate but the group emerged unscathed.
Afterwards lunch was at the popular Claires Cabin Smokehouse Cafe and thy didn’t disappoint, an excellent lunch was had.
