Our July walk started in Kelvedon and was led by Sheena. We met at the Angel pub in Kelvedon and set off on a lovely sunny morning, rain was forecast for later we crossed our fingers. Our circular walk took us along the river Blackwater, through a new housing estate, wheat fields and footpaths and some of the older picturesque parts of Kelvedon. We took a wrong path and had a detour into the local park where there was a Zip Wire which some of us enjoyed riding while the right path was established.
On our return we had a lovely lunch at the Angel Pub. As we all left for home the heavens opened and we counted ourselves lucky to have missed it on the walk.
