Our June walk was in Heybridge Basin led by Liz and Pat.
We met at the Daisy Meadow Car Park and set off along the Blackwater Estuary sea wall towards Osea Island The weather was cooler after the heatwave and with a welcome breeze and beautiful skies. There were lots of boats and yachts out for a sail and estuary birds making the most of low water.
We paused our walk at the Mill Beach cafe for refreshments and then retraced our steps back to Heybridge.
On our return we had an excellent lunch and social gathering at the Jolly Sailor Pub.
