Our April walk was in the pretty village of Great Tey. Meeting in the village we set of on a fine spring morning. The walk took us along country lanes and onto farmland. We passed a fitting memorial for 15 RAF aircrew who died in 1944 in a mid air collision. Afterwards we entered Chalkney Wood which was a sea of blue with so many bluebells and wild garlic.
On our return to the village we drove the short distance to the Poplar Nurseries where 13 of our members enjoyed lunch.
Our thanks to Christine for organising a lovely spring walk.
