Walkie Talkies enjoyed a Circular walk in the lovely historic village of Goldhanger led by Jane Selby. We started at the Chequers Inn where we pre-ordered our food before setting off. The heavens opened but after a downpour the sun came out and no more rain !!
The walk took us through St Peters churchyard and across various farmland paths. There was a good variety of flora and fauna to see and skylarks were out in full voice. Then along the sea wall with great estuary views and back alongside the reedbeds, finishing with a short walk along pretty Fish Street where you can spot the fishes on the houses. Finally returning back to the Chequers for a well-earned lunch.
