The group visited Dedham and Munning’s house on April17th, a lovely Spring day.
Alfred Munnings was a painter of horses, latterly President of the Royal Academy.. He started out as a commercial artist for Colmans mustard, lived and worked in Cornwall as a young man before becoming a war artist for the Canadian Army. He lived in Dedham from 1920 until his death in 1959.
