Creative Writing met as usual on 19th May, the third Tuesday and reviewed our various takes on the subject, ‘The News’.
They varied from an account of a Royal Visit to a workplace, through a (fictional) account of a potential national disaster, and the opening of a steam railway museum, to a very sympathetic account of the deterioration of a life partner.
And decided to put on this site, for the entertainment of members Hazel Clarke’s account of the relationship between an elderly mother, her adult daughter, and the mother’s friends.
