Our July meeting was saddened by the sudden death of Bob Bradford. Bob always wrote imaginative, interesting and, importantly, well-researched stories. We shall miss him and send our condolences to his family.
Last month’s writing was on stories around photos kindly sent to us by Sue Foote, of the Photo Group; thanks Sue. The pictures were very varied and so were the dories they brought out of us; from a panic-struck visit to the dentist to a teenage girl trying to cope with the attentions of a rather older Lothario.
John Clarke’s mysterious and rather sad story of a First World War casualty is attached, as well as the picture which gave rise to it.
