We met again. or at least some of us did, on 18th August. We’ve lost two men,bers; one, Polly, has moved away and Bob has, very sadly, died. I, Miall, went to his funeral; a real celebration of a very memorable character.
However, we’ve two replacements; one member is returning from long-term sick, and we’ve a new member of u3a joining us; Mike, whose first contribution, on the subject of ‘cricket’ is attached.
Next months topic is ‘A rainy day’ I wonder how many variations on the theme we’ll get!
