Our November walk was around the village of Black Notley led by Sue & Pete.
The walk featured some good paths and hard surfaces that weren’t affected by the winter weather.

We met at the Black Notley Village Hall and set off on our circular walk. We passed the war memorial and then on to the parish church of St Peter and St Paul where John Ray the naturalist is buried, there are also war graves in the cemetery. Then along Snakey lane and into farmland and countryside, before entering the village and back to the Village Hall.
Afterwards 12 members dined at Cressing Temple Barns tearooms a short drive away, where we had an excellent lunch and get together.
This was our last walk of this year, and we look forward to some new walks in 2025.
