Abberton Reservoir – June 2024

Although only a small group of 6 was able to make our June visit to Abberton Reservoir, we were again lucky enough to have good weather and enjoyed some interesting bird watching.
On this occasion we spent most of our time observing from the Layer Breton Causeway and, as is often the case, we were lucky enough to find a number of other bird watchers who were more than happy to help us with our bird species identification.
Once again, thanks to Jane’s excellent record keeping, we were able to record almost 30 species, which are listed below, in no particular order.
