Ours meeting showcased French Wines
French wines have lost some of their popularity with competition from upcoming countries.
The group tasted six wines paired with French themed food.
Our first white wine was a crisp Reisling, followed by a Viognier and a Chablis.
Our red wines started with a Claret, followed by a Fleurie and finished with a French Malbec.
One of our members had a birthday so we ended with birthday cake and a lightly chilled Mead, a very enjoyable afternoon.
