The Church Group visited St peters And St Pauls on 10th August. The church is Grade II Listed building set amid peaceful farmland. The church backdates to the 12th century and is the burial place of the pioneering 17th century naturalist John Ray who’s Monument stands just outside the church. There are some war graves here also. The church is also know for its distinctive wooden spire, inside retains its intimate medieval character with timber framework, a stone font and its colourful stained window. These are just a few photos taken of the morning visit.
