Our July walk was in Danbury, led by Jane and Liz. Meeting at the Danbury Sports Centre, we set off on a on a warm sunny morning.
The walk included Danbury Common, woodlands in Danbury Country Park with lakes and meadows and some beautiful ancient trees.
There were places to sit and enjoy the views and wildlife and opportunities to fill our water bottles on such a warm day.
On our way back we passed a zip wire, too tempting for some!!
On our return we drove to The Anchor pub at Runsell Green for an excellent lunch.
