Our May walk was in Wivenhoe. We met a Cooks Shipyard car park on a fine dry day.
The walk took us along the banks of the River Colne and inland through country tracks. There were a few steps up where we helped each other and we were rewarded with some lovely views of the river at the top.
The ground was very dry through lack of rain and uneven in places as we made our way back to the river
After our walk we had lunch in the Rose and Crown a short walk along the Quay. Our thanks to Sue and Liz for organising our walk.
