We now meet at Hatfield Peverel Village Hall, it’s a quiet place where we have a good chat about our experiences on what we grow, well or otherwise. Seems this year has been very good for some and a little difficult for others.
Sally and Steve are having bumper crops, Tracy has had great success with Toddler F1 Tomatoes and Carolyn kindly gave us some Everlasting Sweet Pea seeds and offered a pile of lolly sticks to use as plant identifiers for everyone.
This year our not too serious growing competition will be judged over two months so next month will be part 1 judging of our Crown Prince F1 growing. The following month we all bring another prize specimen of the squash and make our decision on the overall winner of the ‘Master Crop Grower’ shield.
