Membership is open to anyone no longer in full-time employment and living within the district of Witham in Essex or surrounding areas.
Anyone wishing to join or re-join can simply use on-line Membership Application Form Just click the blue link.
Please read the instructions carefully shown on the Form. Details are also given on how to pay privately using your bank account.
If you don’t have access to an Email address, you can contact the Membership Secretary - Marion at one of our monthly meetings held at Witham Town Football Club. Dates, time and location are detailed on our Events page.
Annual Subscription: The annual fee is £15.00, reduced to £7.50 if you join after 1st July. This gives access to all the U3A's activities, although membership of certain groups may incur expenses such as books, materials, travel costs for appropriate outings, etc.
Keeping the Witham and District (Essex) website up to date
This is an official u3a website therefore we encourage our volunteer Group Coordinators etc. to keep things updated for members in general and potential new membership.
To that end we have provided a simple password protected form for you to put your information on the site. The Website Manager or Assistant will then format the information supplied and display it for you.
There are 3 dedicated upload forms namely - EVENTS, GROUP and SITE UPLOAD.
Event and Group forms have an obvious use. The idea of the Site Upload form is for more general things like Witham u3a Newsletters and Committee Reports.
Once a form is completed and uploaded the website team will be notified automatically and your input will be displayed in the appropriate location, that’s it.
