We are a small group of beginners and more experienced members who enjoy spending time researching their family history.
Our meetings are held in Witham Library which allows free use of their computers, from 2 – 4 pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Access to Websites such as ‘Ancestry’ and ‘Find My Past’ are also free of charge for those who do not already subscribe.
Our numbers are only limited by the number of computers available in the Library and we are always prepared to welcome new members and anyone can bring and use their own laptops.
Help is always at hand for getting started or for any difficulties with research and we now have a member who is a qualified genealogist and hope to make good use of his expertise.
