Meets whenever local quizzes are available to attend.
Group members are offered the events and choose whether they wish to take part. There are no obligations but they have to book their places by contacting the Group Leader, (Coordinator), as many involve the purchase of tickets.
Rather than being strictly competitive, most members enjoy the social side of a night out while, usually, supporting charity.
Events have been won at the United Reformed Church, Witham; Witham Royal British Legion Hall and The Swan pub, Little Totham.

Our u3a's own Quiz Nights concluded for 2024 with four teams taking part in the final evening.
Blackwood Five took the final title
But the year was enjoyed by a number of different teams … many consisting of individuals who turned up on their own and joined others for a sociable evening.
