Witham and District (U3A) Bridge Group
The bridge group meets weekly on Friday mornings at Henry Dixon Hall, Rivenhall for sociable hands of bridge. Currently we have 13 members and play between 09.30 am and 12.30pm. There is a midway break for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat.
Our group follows the basic ACOL system and uses a simple scoring system. We change partners every four hands. There is always someone to help with the scoring.
Everyone is very friendly. The weekly cost at present is £3.00 which covers the hall hire and refreshments. The cards, bidding boxes and score sheets are all provided.
New players or those who have played in the past are always welcome, so why not come along and give it a try?
